Family Fun!!!

Well...Jay has been busy at work again with this crazy weather. I am glad to be back on a "normal" schedule with school for the boys. The boys keep asking about us going camping, I keep telling them not to worry because we will be going camping this spring and summer, especially with all the time Jay has accumalated during these winter months. We have been busy cleaning out toys and clothes during all our snow days. I am trying to get some scrapbooking done, I would love to get caught up by the end of the year(not sure if that will happen). Have a great week.

SNOW!!!!SNOW!!!!!SNOW!!!!

I now have a new respect for single moms. Jay has had to work for several hours, since last wed...We have had fun in the snow but could have had more fun if Jay could have been home. Just be warned we will have a fun blog this spring when he is able to take some time off. Today Aunt Bev, Chrissy and Bererket came over to play and have adult conversations. No school so far this week, maybe Friday the roads will be clear enough to go to school. We found out this afternoon the students will go to school on MLK day and the Friday before President's Day and President's Day too. We have enjoyed the snow but we have had enough as well. The Lord is working in our family and we can't wait to see what else he does for us this year. Praying God Blesses you and your family.

2011 starts off

On Monday, Dec.27 we finally made it to West Tn to be with family for Christmas. We had lots of fun visiting with family. The boys were excited to get their DS for Christmas and James was so excited about his notebook with paper from Nanny. We decided to stay and bring in the New Year with the family. We had fun playing cards and eating Christmas candy. We made our way back home on the sat. after Christmas. I was excited to get home and get decorations down and get on a "regular" schedule. Jay has been on vacation this week, getting a lot taken care of around the house. Today started out as a nice day, then this afternoon out of no where it came down...SNOW,SNOW,SNOW!!! So you know what that means....Jay left for work around 9pm and will come home sometime tomorrow. I do enjoy the beauty of the snow, however I don't enjoy Jay working these crazy hours.Praying God continues to Bless each and everyone who reads our blog. Excited about what God is going to do in our family this year.

Christmas to Remember

Well....this has been one Christmas to remember. Danielle came to visit for a few days a that was fun.On Thursday, we had septic tank issues= water in downstairs. Jay has been at work since friday at midnight, he got to come home for about an hour Christmas morning for us to open presents and to see what santa brought. He came home sat. night for a few hours then met us at church today. We had a white Christmas and that was fun, however, we didn't get to go to West TN to be with family. I misssed not being with family on Christmas day, hotdogs and hamburgers are not your usual Christmas meal. We are preparing to be with family this week. The Lord has blessed us this year in more ways than I can mention. We are thankful for food, shelter, heat, job and family. May the Lord Bless you and your family in 2011. We are looking forward to all the Lord has for us in 2011.

ICE, ICE, ICE

Last night the boys were in a short program at church. They were both shepherds and did great singing. I am so thankful for a church where my boys can be apart of so many activities. We awoke this morning to lots of ice. Jay has been at work since yesterday morning. Please pray for him and all his workers I know they are all very tired physically and mentally. It is so pretty to see the snow covered ice, however it is dangerous out. I have pictures to upload when I figure out how to upload pictues and video to the blog. I am so thankful for a warm house and food to eat. Please pray for all the people with no house, heat or food. Thank you Lord for all your blessings you have given to me and my family. Stay warm and be safe.

Snow and Ice

Well, I have finally done it. I have decided to join the world of blogging. I just hope I stay on top of it and that you guys enjoy hearing about our family and all of our adventures.
Today we finally have some sunshine and the boys and I are going to venture out. Of course, Jay is at work and has worked a lot these past few days. I will post more later. Wishing you and your family a very Merry CHRISTMAS!!!!!
